Is Your Body’s Check Engine Light On?

When check engine light comes on in the car, we call the mechanic. Any time that we feel pain or stiffness, it is a red flag. This would be like our car’s check engine light coming on telling us that something isn’t quite right in our bodies. Are you tired of living in pain and not being able to spend time with loved ones or do your favorite activities? There is help! No matter what stage of life we are in, we don’t want our pain and our bodies to keep us from doing activities, spending time with loved ones, or daily household tasks. As we get older, our spine starts to undergo degenerative changes and our tissues weaken which causes us to feel pain, stiffness, and have a loss in motion.

Chiropractic care can benefit us at any age by increasing our balance and coordination, decreasing stiffness, relieve pain, and so much more! There are numerous studies that show that chiropractic care can help improve a person’s balance and coordination because the receptors that help control our balance originate from the neck. Thus, helping decrease the number of falls.

Chiropractors use very specific adjustments to address the misalignments in the spine which in turn helps to get more motion in the spine and helps to reduce stiffness. This is why most people will notice improvements in their range of motion after receiving chiropractic care. Getting under regular chiropractic care can impact our quality of life in a positive way!
