Give this locally owned eatery a try and it just might become your favorite breakfast place. It is conveniently located on West “O” Street (201 Capitol Beach Blvd, Lincoln, NE) with plenty of parking. Step inside and you will likely be greeted, seated and served by the owner herself. Open for breakfast and lunch only, but the atmosphere, service and food will not disappoint!
My favorite is the Woodees breakfast. A couple of eggs anyway you like ‘em, bacon or sausage, hashbrowns, toast and coffee. My wife almost always ordered the Cinnamon Pecan Pancakes. For lunch their burgers are fantastic, but the daily specials are worth the trip. Especially the fried chicken on Wednesdays. It is sooooo delicious that you may want to get there a little early to beat the crowd of regulars. But trust me, it is worth the wait.
Woodees is that classic home-grown local eatery that has withstood the test of time. Once again proving that there is something special about local. Oh, and pay by cash and receive a nice little cash discount!
